ASPC Scholarship Program

The American Society for Preventive Cardiology (ASPC) proudly announces our Scholarship Program to support and inspire the next generation of preventive cardiology professionals. We invite outstanding students, fellows, and early-career clinicians with a passion for cardiovascular prevention to apply.

This prestigious program offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with world-renowned leaders in preventive cardiology during the 2025 ASPC Congress on CVD Prevention, which will be held in Boston. Selected participants will receive:

  • Complimentary registration to the 2025 ASPC Congress
  • Up to $750 in reimbursement toward travel expenses*

Scholarship recipients will also participate in a brief educational initiative that includes pre- and post-conference surveys to assess how the ASPC experience shapes their clinical knowledge, professional development, and practice patterns over the course of a year.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be based in the United States
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in cardiovascular disease prevention
  • Open to anyone. However, priority will be given to trainees and early-career individuals

Application Instructions

Please complete the APPLICATION FORM and submit the following documents by May 15, 2025:

  1. Proof of good standing in your training program (this must be a signed letter or form from your program director).
  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  3. Personal statement, explaining why you are a strong candidate for the ASPC Scholarship and how this opportunity aligns with your career goals in preventive cardiology.

Selection Process

Up to 15 exceptional applicants (dependent on available funding) will be selected by the ASPC leadership team based on merit, commitment to prevention, and potential for future leadership in the field.

Post-Program Engagement

As part of our commitment to ongoing education and mentorship, awardees will be asked to complete:

  • A short survey before the Congress (to identify personal learning goals)
  • A post-Congress survey
  • A follow-up survey 12 months later, to assess the long-term impact of their experience

  • Travel reimbursement will be provided after the Congress upon submission of receipts (up to $750)
  • Applicants must be able to attend the Congress in person to receive the award
